1. Rust Blockchain Core Software Engineer

About the role
At Phala Network, you will end-to-end participate in the core system design, development, test, and deployment. You will deal with the crypto primitives like Merkle Proof, Key Agreement, and DKG. We embrace the cutting-edge technologies in the blockchain industry, including cross-chain interoperability, and integration with Filecoin and ZKP systems. 2. Senior Web3.0 Community Manager

Responsibilities
- Manage and Grow Phala global communities. We need your growth strategy based on data-driven analysis.
- Moderate Phala forums, social platforms and chat groups and interact with the community to increase positive engagement (Discord, Reddit and Telegram).
- Explore new community-friendly platforms to facilitate the expansion of Phala's local userbase and influence.
- Assist in organizing online and offline events and meet-ups
- Assist with Phala ambassadors’ recruitment and bonding.
- Help with translations and proofread content.
- Share market feedback and user suggestions with relevant functional teams in the Phala marketing team.
- Stay informed on trends in digital technology and the crypto space.
Requirements
- Proven community management experience with strong ownership and emotional intelligence.
- Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter).
- Familiarity with online platforms such as Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Facebook, Medium, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency / blockchain-related terminologies and trends and have a liking for crypto cultures.
- Be able to work flexible and stretched hours to interact with the crypto community as frequently as possible.
- Native or near-native level in English
- Hardware mining experience such as Filecoin, Swarm is preferred
- Knowledge of other minor languages is preferred

3. Developer Advocate

About the role
Developer Advocacy and Community Building: You will be responsible for harnessing and leading our global developer community. With the help from Polkadot and Web3 Foundation, you will not be alone at this. Your initial target audience will be all blockchain developers in the Polkadot ecosystem that could easily integrate Phala’s tech. We would also expect you to grow the community beyond blockchain developers in the future — to a border developer who demands privacy in cloud computing services.
Responsibilities
- Interact with developers and users of the chain to understand their needs, and write articles, tutorials, and sample code in response
- Create documentation such as technical docs, blog posts and videos to teach developers how to build with Phala
- Host events and build relationships within the developer community to understand the needs, frustrations, and feedback among the community
- Curate educational material created by the community and ensure its accessibility
- Be active and engaging in the social media (primarily Twitter and Medium, but also communicate on Discord, Telegram, Reddit)
Requirements
- Good communication skills and understanding of decentralized technology, cloud computing, and open-source social media scenes
- Quickly able to learn and teach new technologies and frameworks
- Ability to document and comment code
- Fluent or professional English
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with or a strong interest in Substrate or Confidential Computation
- Practical experience of working with the crypto / decentralized technology space, and open source, privacy-minded communities
- Solid programming skills (in any language)
- Experience writing DApps, smart contracts, or other blockchain-related code
- You have taught or helped (as a teaching assistant or similar) to teach a class or workshop
- You have written tutorials, articles or sample code for others
